> Our Talent

It is only right that employees who perform well are recognised for doing so. This is why in future we will see more recognition of the good work that is done throughout the Service. After all, it is the team work that is making the people who live, work and travel in Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes the safest in England.

Here, you will find a collection of awards that our people have received since 2015. This section will continue to be updated as the fantastic work of our employees continues to be recognised.

> SAFE Awards (Service Awards For Excellence)

Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service took the decision in 2015 to introduce a series of awards, allowing members of the community and colleagues the chance to recognise members of staff for exceptional service and excellence.

Every year the awards are advertised internally, on our website and via social media. People are invited to send in their nominations using an on-line survey or by email.

A nominations panel made up of a broad range of staff from across the service have the very difficult task of deliberating on the numerous nominations to identify the various winners.

Awards will be announced soon!

> Charity Awards

The Firefighters Charity are the leading provider of services that enhance quality of life for serving and retired firefighters, fire personnel and their families. Over the years, they have helped hundreds of thousands of individuals by providing world-class treatment and support services.

It costs over £9 million per year to keep the Charity running, they are completely reliant upon donations and fundraising, so their support is very much needed.

Every year our employees go to great lengths to support this fantastic Charity. We feel it is important that they are recognised for their dedication and support.
